It’s been a while since I posted a real update, and a lot has changed. When I last wrote, I was releasing the early alpha of the Healing Pathways Companion. That version feels like another lifetime now. The work has grown, I’ve grown, and Valkyrie itself has stepped into a new phase.
Healing Pathways is no longer an idea on my desk.
It’s a complete, living program — two books, a full framework, and a path people can actually walk. What started as twelve rough concepts years ago has finally become what it was meant to be: a real structure for people rebuilding after loss, recovery, illness, identity shifts, and the kind of life changes that don’t come with a map.
Valkyrie Counseling Group has changed shape too. It’s not a clinic, not an agency, not a multi-service operation.
It’s a forge.
It’s the home where the work is built, refined, and carried forward.
Right now, everything I do lives under one offering: the Healing Pathways Program.
You can walk it on your own through the books, you can work with me one-on-one, and starting in 2026, professionals will be able to train in the method and use it in their own communities.
Alongside that, the ASAM Level One Facilitator Guide is officially published — a decade of real-world outpatient work distilled into a book counselors can use immediately. And This Is How It Feels to Heal continues to anchor everything: the story behind the frameworks, the philosophy behind the method, and the foundation behind the voice.
Juliana continues her own work through One Life to Be You, and together we’ve shifted Valkyrie into what it was always supposed to be: a place for real transformation, real clarity, and real movement — not theory, not performance, not institutional approval.
If you’ve been following this journey from the beginning, thank you.
If you’re new here, welcome.
This next season is going to be different — clearer, simpler, and truer to the work than anything that came before it.
More updates soon. The real build starts now.
