Welcome to Valkyrie Counseling Group, LLC
Valkyrie Counseling Group is the home of the Healing Pathways Program, the writing, and the lived-practice frameworks of Steve R. Patterson. Co-owned with his wife and creative partner, Juliana Tabares, Valkyrie serves as the foundation for Steve’s books, transformation models, and personal mentorship work.
Valkyrie is not a clinic and not a traditional counseling agency. It’s a forge — the place where the ideas, practices, and frameworks behind Healing Pathways, This Is How It Feels to Heal, and the ASAM Level One Guide were created, tested, and refined. Everything here is built from real experience, deep study, and the long arc of recovery and reinvention.
What Valkyrie Does Now
Steve’s work now centers on a single offering: the Healing Pathways Program.
This includes:
- Self-paced transformation through the Healing Pathways books.
- One-on-one coaching based on the Twelve Paths.
- Facilitator training beginning in 2026.
All coaching, mentorship, and developmental work flows through the Healing Pathways model. It is the living core of Valkyrie.
Juliana continues her own creative and authorial work through One Life to Be You, focusing on feminine leadership, authenticity, and narrative transformation.
